Suck harder and faster than you ever did before. Most of the time though, Kain will simply need to drain the entire vessel of its contents before continuing, so be sure to hold down the suck button until the corpse is dry.

Leaving bodies partially drained may be a good idea when Kain's life is full - this will allow him to feed again when his life again ebbs low when he finishes exploring the local vicinity. Remember that Kain can judge how much blood he can drain by the appropriate release of the suck button. Sucking blood is not as automatic as one might hope. Operation of switches and doors is handled by one button, but will serve as the fighting button once in combat mode. Attacking is a rather simple procedure once one realizes it requires holding one button and pressing another. Kain may jump of course, to reach the higher platforms etc, but in combat mode he will make short hops to the side to avoid incoming attacks. He may walk or run (mostly run) depending on how much the analog stick is depressed from center in either mode, but he will move faster in non-combat mode. Kain has two modes by which he will interact with the world around him: combat and non-combat. This means a mostly human set of movements and motions. What Umah or the programmers will not stress though, is how placing Kain in fighting mode will allow him to strafe - although it will show Kain's true intention immediately when he does so.īut in short, Kain is a vampire. Once Umah leaves Kain to his own devices, training messages from the programmers will show players what to do. Puzzles are not too overly hard and only requires the minimal amount of mental effort and deduction. Umah will treat rookies and veterans to the rigours of being a vampire in the first stage once Kain (and players) has his bearings he will be able to handle most situations handed to him.
